Can I add logic analyzer channels later?
On the Plus models, yes: RIGOL lists an MSO upgrade and the RPL1116 logic probe to enable 16 digital channels. The DS1054Z and the 2-channel -E models don't take the logic upgrade.
Which model has a built-in signal generator?
The DS1074Z-S Plus and DS1104Z-S Plus include a 2-channel 25 MHz function/arbitrary generator.
