The DSG3000B is a 2U-high RF signal generator for 6.5 GHz (DSG3065B) or 13.6 GHz (DSG3136B), with phase noise under -116 dBc/Hz at 20 kHz offset (typical), amplitude accuracy under 0.5 dB (typical) and an output setting range from -130 dBm to +27 dBm.
AM, FM and phase modulation are standard, along with pulse modulation (70 dB on/off ratio) and a user-defined pulse-train generator. The -IQ models add I/Q modulation and an internal baseband generator, and the -OCXO models replace the standard 1 ppm clock with a 5 ppb high-stability timebase. USB, LAN and GPIB with SCPI make it easy to put in a test rack.
