The DSG5000 is a multi-channel coherent microwave source: 2, 4, 6 or 8 phase-coherent outputs up to 12 GHz (DSG512x) or 20 GHz (DSG520x) in one instrument. Phase-coherent channels share a common reference, so their relative phase stays fixed, which is what beamforming, phased-array and MIMO test setups need.
RIGOL lists phase noise below -133 dBc/Hz for the series. Choosing a model comes down to the maximum frequency and the number of coherent channels your array or system needs.
