CH3In the box, and what it is for
What it's good for
- Logging a battery or supply rail over a shift (DM858: 500,000 points).
- Checking true-RMS current draw of a motor drive or SMPS.
- A second meter on an education or repair bench where space is tight.
CH4Questions buyers ask
What's the difference between the DM858 and DM858E?
The DM858 reads faster (125 vs 80 readings/s), logs more (500,000 vs 20,000 points) and has tighter one-year DCV accuracy (0.03% vs 0.06%). Screen, functions and interfaces are the same.
Can it run without a mains outlet?
It's powered through a USB Type-C port, so it runs from a USB-C power source rather than a mains cord. Check RIGOL's datasheet for the power rating it needs.
Do you ship the DM858E outside the US?
We ship within the USA only (all 50 states, DC and the US territories). Outside the US, send an international inquiry and we can point you to a RIGOL distributor in your country.
